… from meditations on Matthew 8:23-26

He can’t stop thinking of me
I am securely wrapped within His heart
I have followed Him into this boat
I will not fear - although the storm may start

I will keep my eyes on Him
Sleeping peacefully in the helm
I have no fear of drowning
While I am immersed within His realm

Then I’ll not need His compassionate correction
For the small measure of my faith
He will help me to sail through life’s storms
Rather than needing to rebuke the waves
